As for the saying of Imam Ridha (as) on visiting the shrine of Lady Ma’sumah (as), in which the Imam has been quoted to have said, “Whoever visits her Shrine, it is as if he has visited me.”, we do not claim that this analogy is in all aspects, but from this quote it can be construed that making pigrimage includes paying homage from afar. The saying “Whoever visits her (Shrine) will enter Paradise.” has been quoted from three Imams (as). One of them is from Imam Sadiq (as), i.e. before the birth of Imam Kadhim (as) and Lady Ma’sumah (as), which indicates her status and special position.
As for her knowledge, a group of people from Qom travelled to Medina for their questions to be answered by Imam Kadhim (as) but the found out the Imam (as) was not home. Lady Ma’sumah (as) opened the door, took the questions and told them to wait until she brought the answers. Lady Ma’sumah (as) herself wrote the answers and gave the answers to them. On their way back, they saw the Imam (as). After observing the answers, the Imam (as) said, “May her father be her sacrifice.”
This sentence from the Imam (as) was not an exaggeration and not caused but parental sentiments. This quote is the proof of her high position.
