Ayatollah Fazel Lankarani’s congratulatory message to Hujjatul Islam Raisi

Dear President Elect, Hujjatul Isalm Raisi,

Electing you as president by the revolutionary and wise Iranian Nation was a turning point in the history of our great Islamic Revolution. This election, which was an epic event, disappointed the enemies and filled with hope the hearts of the Iranian Nation rather all supporters of our Revolution.

All expect that you, by relying on God, the Exalted, and by seeking help from the prayers of God’s vicegerent (ajtf) and the pure souls of the martyrs, take great steps in substantiating the beloved Islam, reinforcing the Islamic government, and easing the concerns and problems of this great people.

Using your invaluable experience achieved by being in different positions, the insight and wisdom that God has given you, and with the help of all the devoted and expert individuals, God willing, you will be able to bring a change in the entire country and eradicate forever your true rival, i.e. corruption.

Imam al-Ridha (as) and the other Imams (as) expect that you demonstrate to the world the value of religion in governance.
