When marrying a virgin girl, the obligatory precaution is to sought her father’s permission. Temporary marriage is not suitable for a virgin girl even if she is independent in matters of her life and the precaution is not to conclude the marriage without her father’s permission.
According to His Eminence Ayatullah Sheikh Muhammad Javad Fazel Lankarani, if the marriage formula is pronounced correctly even without the father’s permission, it is valid and the marriage is in order.

I read somewhere that if a girl is independent in all matters of her life, she can conclude temporary marriage with a man without her father’s permission. In such a case, the marriage contract is valid, though she has committed a sin. Please explain more.
